JEMA Connect 2021: February 15-16

Networking and Equipping for Life and Ministry Issues

We are gearing up once again for JEMA Connect, our annual business, fellowship, and networking event on 15-16th February 2021. This year’s event will be completely online via Zoom.

Monday 15th February will be our Annual Business Meeting followed by the Mission Leaders’ Consultation. All JEMA members are invited to the Annual Business Meeting.
If you are a mission leader, please plan on staying after the Annual Business Meeting on Monday to join us for a time of fellowship, followed by the Mission Leaders’ Consultation (MLC) that evening. The MLC topic this year is “Leading with a developmental mindset,” facilitated by Mark Rood, Tokyo Director of Japan Navigators. This session will focus on how we as mission leaders can develop emerging leaders in our organizations. Each mission leader is invited to bring along one emerging leader to this session (two-minute intro video: click here)
Tuesday 16th February will feature an all-day Leader Development Workshop, open to both JEMA (free of charge) and non-JEMA members (¥3,500) and will be facilitated again by Mark Rood. This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of whether you currently consider yourself a leader or not!

For those of us who need some assistance in connecting via online platform, a practice session will be held on 8th Monday February 2021 from 8 pm using Zoom. We will try to assist in working out some of the technical difficulties in joining an online meeting at that time.

As we learn and share together at these events, our hope is that we will be encouraged and thus able to motivate others for their ministries.
